OneDentokan Bursary Fund : Guidelines (see above)

How much is the award?

Up to £200 in each award year. There is one fund for Zambia, one for Zimbabwe and one for the UK & Solomon Islands.

What can the award be used for?

You can use the award to improve people’s skills, capabilities or conditions of life through education and recreation, and to do something which will help you to do this.

Are there any examples?

There are many ways to do this, some of which may be :

For you to learn something which then helps you to help others
For you to run a charitable event or hire a venue for a charitable event
For you to travel so you can do something for others
For you to get resources or equipment which will be used to help others' education or recreation
And so on …

What do I have to do in return?

As well as doing what you said you were going to do with the money, you have to write a short paragraph for us on your progress after 6 months, and again after 12 months

How do I apply?

Fill in the application form. Get a photograph of yourself. You should send the form to the address on the top of the form with your photograph. You can also scan and send the form and photo via the internet, to

foundryuk@hotmail.com. The deadlines for application will be set out on the internet.
